About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is highly respected within the industry. Our investment in learning and technology solutions enables our team to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role:

  • Perform fund accounting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements, providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Prepare limited partner and general partner allocations, ensuring fairness and transparency.
  • Prepare trial balances and work paper products, supporting the audit process.
  • Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Involvement with a full scope of transaction activities, including full cycle accounting.
  • Prepare financial data analysis, providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
  • Interact with management and clients, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Review real assets fund client's partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials, ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement.
  • Train and support team members in their development, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
  • Operate as a contact point for clients, responding to and resolving queries or escalating where necessary.
  • Liaise with various internal/external parties, including auditors and legal counsel.
  • Assist in client audit procedures, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients, maintaining the security of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets, providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Liaise with property management companies, ensuring effective communication.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Designated accountant or working towards CPA designation, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • 3+ years of public/private real estate or private equity fund accounting work experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with the ability to apply these standards in a practical context.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written), with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Motivated, bright, and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced level MS Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and analyze data.
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional documents and presentations.
