Position: Industrial Hygiene Project Manager - Full Time

Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP specializes in assisting corporate clients in identifying the underlying causes of system failures, material degradation, and environmental incidents. Our expertise extends to documenting liability assessments, exploring subrogation opportunities, and implementing remediation strategies to safeguard assets. We provide clarity on incidents and their causes, ensuring your interests are protected.

The ideal candidate will oversee property and business claims related to hazardous substances, indoor air quality concerns, water damage, and various chemical, physical, and biological hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial and residential claims, including but not limited to: designated substance surveys, asbestos evaluations and removal, mold and water damage assessments, indoor air quality evaluations, and testing for illicit substances and clandestine lab cleanups.
  • Conduct technical report writing and peer review for team members in the hygiene department.
  • Foster communication and build relationships with clients.
  • Establish and maintain project budgets and timelines.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop problem-solving strategies.
  • Coordinate and plan medium to large-scale abatement projects in collaboration with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Engage in client presentations and promotional initiatives.
  • Strive to develop and uphold industry-leading service standards.
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector is advantageous.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Demonstrated project management experience in relevant fields (hygiene, restoration, technical consulting).
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Possession of a university degree or college diploma in a related discipline.
  • Professional certification is preferred, or a willingness to pursue certification.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A collaborative team player focused on achieving results.
Work Environment:
  • Position based in Calgary, Alberta.
  • Willingness to travel across Alberta as necessary.
