Job Summary

Château M.T. Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Operational Management
    • Coordinate and manage the hotel's operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
    • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained, responding to guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Administer the hotel's budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Technology and Systems
    • Manage the hotel's computer systems, equipment, and machinery, ensuring they are in good working order and performing at optimal levels.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure the hotel meets all relevant health and safety standards, implementing procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in hotel operations management or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
