Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Supervision
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient hotel operations.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised to stay up-to-date with hotel operations.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel operations and staff performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
    • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
    • Administer budget and requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Technical Skills
    • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity.
    • Arrange repair work as needed to minimize downtime.

Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
