About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at L&L Concrete Foundation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Operate Hand Tools and Equipment: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools and equipment, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards.
  • Inspect and Monitor Work: Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications and that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards and that all products are safe and functional.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times, and that all work is done in a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in various locations, and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads, as well as work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work, requiring a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
