Senior Claims Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for handling complex claims, investigating and evaluating automobile and property tort losses, and managing challenging coverage claims with tact and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex claims, including direct and litigated files
- Investigate and evaluate automobile and property tort losses, identifying coverage issues and negotiating resolutions
- Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies, ensuring compliance with corporate protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to gather information and evidence
- Provide training and support to junior and intermediate claims adjusters
- Contribute to the development of operational objectives and special projects
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling casualty claims
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex information and identify coverage issues
- Knowledge of principles and practices of claims settlement, policy wording, and fraud investigations
