Claims Specialist

Snowbirds Auto Connection Ltd. is seeking a part-time Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving automobile claims in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with claimants, the company, and relevant parties to document, process, and finalize automobile claims.
- Exercise judgment to calculate liability and resolve claims in a fair and timely manner.
- Analyze vehicle repair estimates from body shops and review images, photos, videos, and vehicle condition reports to determine claim validity.
- Respond to claimants in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise information about the claims process.
- Document all claims in a detailed and organized manner, including all pertinent information.
- Negotiate settlements and utilize available tools and resources to resolve claims efficiently.
- Manage expenses by working with auto body/repair shops and managing the scope of work assigned.
- Relevant experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Good knowledge of how to evaluate automobile damage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience.
- Experience working with automobile repair/body shop estimates.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook proficiently.
- Skillful in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
This is a part-time position, with a maximum of 10 hours per week. The company will provide training for company software, processes, contacts, etc.
