Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Property Claims Adjuster to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a Senior Field Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and analyzing property claims, as well as negotiating and settling claims with policyholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and evaluate property claims, including low to moderate severity claims
  • Interpret policy conditions and legislation to confirm coverage for policyholders
  • Conduct investigations, including taking phone statements and coordinating services with service providers
  • Evaluate liability, salvage, and subrogation exposure and potential
  • Contact and coordinate all parties involved in the claims process
  • Review and analyze initial losses to ensure files meet assignment criteria
  • Respond to client complaints and appeals
  • Determine proper kind of loss (KOL) reserves based on exposure and authority level
  • Examine claims files handled by Independent Adjusters when required
  • Prepare and maintain various reports on property claims

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of advanced property experience, including large and complex claims
  • Possess a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and meet provincial requirements to operate a vehicle
  • An educational background, including relevant post-secondary education
  • CIP designation or working towards a CIP designation
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
