Position Overview

As the Chief Technology and Operations Officer at OpenWorks Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organization's technological and operational strategies. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 32 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field
Work Environment

Financial Oversight

Manage a budget ranging from $100,001 to $500,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute material, human, and financial resources to execute organizational policies and initiatives
  • Authorize and organize the formation of key departments and senior staff roles
  • Set objectives for the organization and either formulate or endorse policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or delegate representatives for official functions
  • Select and empower middle managers, directors, or other executive personnel, ensuring optimal working conditions
  • Oversee event management
  • Conduct performance evaluations
Supervisory Role

Direct supervision of a team comprising 5 to 10 individuals.

Technical Proficiency
  • Expertise in Blockchain, Jira, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and MAC
