About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Technology and Operations to join our team at OpenWorks Technologies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of our technology and operations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement technology and operations strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to senior staff and teams to ensure effective execution of technology and operations initiatives.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support the implementation of technology and operations initiatives.
  • Policy and Procedure Development
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective management of technology and operations.
  • Representation and Negotiation
    • Represent the company in negotiations and other official functions, ensuring that the company's interests are represented and protected.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to senior staff and teams to ensure effective performance and growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, technology, or engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior technology and operations leadership role.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to allocate resources effectively and manage budgets.
    • Knowledge of technology and operations management principles and practices.
    • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud-based technologies.
  • Area of Work Experience
    • Management and product development experience.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Willing to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
