Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
Customer ServiceAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Administrative TasksMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Work EnvironmentAs a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 staff members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements- Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language spoken in this role.
