Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently, making this role ideal for individuals who are physically fit and able to work in a dynamic setting.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality control.
