Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference Services Coordinator to join our team at Aramark. This role will be responsible for supporting the Director of Conference Services and Catering, as well as the General Manager, by handling administrative duties and servicing meetings and event bookings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative tasks, including expediting details for events, catering, and conferences.
  • Assist with soliciting new business and developing relationships to drive sales on campus and in the wider community.
  • Work closely with the Director and Manager of Conference Services and Catering to ensure a positive event process within a team environment.
  • Gain a logistical understanding of the needs of clients throughout their events.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all employees.
  • Manage meeting space to maximize space utilization balanced with customer needs.
Requirements
  • Possess a Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or 2-4 years of Conference Planning & Catering experience.
  • Experience with companies operating in multi-site, unionized operations is preferred.
  • Experience working with OPERA Property Management System will be an asset.
