Job Summary

As a key member of the client relationship team, the Private Banking Associate - International Private Banking is responsible for developing sales and service solutions through regular client interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with new clients to outline how the Private Banking Associate role provides support to Private Bankers and provides superior client experience to High Net Worth International Private Banking clients.
  • Act as primary contact for new and existing client needs, coordinating sales and fulfillment with product and service specialists.
  • Ensure problems are resolved to the client's satisfaction, and advise the Private Banker of potential escalation/major issues.
  • Maximize opportunities with clients to enhance retention, revenue growth, and referrals.
  • Assist clients with requests, such as processing daily transactions, wire transfers, and daily term investment renewals in a timely manner.
  • Maximize the use of technology to maintain data integrity, documenting all relevant client sales and service contacts and results.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years retail banking experience.
  • Language Skill: Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proven client service skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of IFIC and/or CSC.
  • Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Basic understanding of investment fundamentals and thorough understanding of Royal Bank of Canada products and services.
