Client Relationship Manager, Private Banking

Position Overview: This role is pivotal in delivering an outstanding customer experience to our private banking clientele. The individual will provide a high level of professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service to both existing and prospective clients, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in crafting compelling business proposals or presentations tailored to clients and prospects.
- Identify client needs and align them with suitable products or services, employing relationship-based selling techniques and facilitating referrals to other team members.
- Propose workflow process enhancements aimed at boosting efficiency and service quality.
- Assess client requirements and ensure the prompt and accurate execution of transaction processing.
- Take ownership of client inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions and appropriate referrals.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of integrated private banking services and the strategic direction of the organization.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze data to derive insights and actionable recommendations.
- Review monitoring reports and take necessary actions in collaboration with Private Bankers.
- Aim to exceed client service standards to enhance relationship retention and growth.
- Build rapport and instill confidence in clients to foster trust and credibility.
- Provide timely and accurate support to Private Bankers by managing a variety of credit and non-credit activities.
- Adhere to all relevant banking, investment, and lending regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Follow security protocols and apply due diligence to prevent losses due to fraud or other financial misconduct.
- Participate in audits and compliance assessments as required.
- Identify and escalate any irregularities or discrepancies to management.
- Handle complex tasks within established guidelines, including addressing escalations from colleagues.
- Evaluate issues and determine appropriate next steps.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Typically requires 2-3 years of relevant experience along with a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must fulfill licensing and certification requirements for the respective team or jurisdiction.
- Working knowledge of personal and commercial credit products, operational processes, and applications.
- Basic understanding of the lending process and associated policies.
- Familiarity with loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
