Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Banking Officer to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our private banking clients, providing a superior level of knowledge and expertise to support their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing new business proposals and presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products or services using relationship selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Review overdraft and other monitoring reports with Private Bankers and take action accordingly.
  • Strive to exceed client service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
  • Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and earn their trust.
Requirements
  • Typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • Must meet the licensing and certification requirements for the team / branch / jurisdiction where the mandate is being fulfilled.
  • Working knowledge of personal and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes and applications.
  • Basic knowledge of the Lending Process and supporting policies.
  • Basic knowledge of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routine.
