Key Responsibilities- Provide superior service to existing and potential clients, demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services.
- Identify and discuss clients' needs, working collaboratively with the branch and regional teams to make referrals and drive business growth.
- Assist in preparing new business proposals and presentations to clients and prospects.
- Match customer needs with appropriate products or services, using relationship selling techniques and making referrals to other BMO employees.
- Identify and recommend workflow process alternatives to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Determine client needs and ensure timely and accurate completion of transaction processing.
- Take ownership of client inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and referring as appropriate.
- Maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of integrated private banking services and offerings, as well as the strategic direction of the business.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Review overdraft and other monitoring reports with Private Bankers and take action accordingly.
- Strive to exceed client service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
- Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and earn their trust.
- Provide timely, accurate service and support to Private Bankers by completing a wide variety of credit, non-credit, and related activities.
- Adhere to all banking, investment, and lending regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as legal and ethical requirements.
- Follow security and safeguarding procedures and apply appropriate due diligence for the prevention of loss due to fraud, counterfeiting, money laundering, or defalcation.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews as assigned.
- Identify and escalate all irregularities and discrepancies to management.
- Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits, and may include handling escalations from other employees.
- Analyze issues and determine next steps.
- Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet the licensing and certification requirements for the team/branch/jurisdiction where the mandate is being fulfilled.
- Working knowledge of personal and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes, and applications.
- Basic knowledge of the lending process and supporting policies.
- Basic knowledge of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routine.

The salary range for this position is $37,500.00 - $69,500.00, with a pay type of Salaried. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
