Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Ontario Limited. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that support the well-being of children.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Assist in maintaining records and encouraging children to express their creativity through various media.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, non-smoking, air-conditioned environment.
  • Flexibility, punctuality, dependability, and reliability.
Work Environment:
  • Childcare centre with a team of 5-10 people.
  • Immunization records, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check required.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

40 to 44 hours per week.
