Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Colas USA. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing strategic HR guidance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Planning: Develop and implement workforce plans that align with business objectives, ensuring a skilled and agile workforce to drive business success.
  • Talent Attraction and Recruitment: Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Talent Management: Analyze talent evaluation and performance reviews to identify high potentials and high performers, strengths, development needs, and gaps at individual and business levels.
  • Performance Management: Support and coach managers through performance management and talent evaluation cycles, ensuring accurate and timely completion of performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Employee Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and incidents, ensuring due process and minimizing legal liability.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with legislated and contractual obligations, monitoring adherence to company policies, code of ethics, and compensation philosophy.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and present annual HR dashboards to business leaders, highlighting key HR metrics and trends.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Business Administration and/or a Human Resources related discipline, with a preferred HR designation.
  • Experience: At least 7+ years of relevant HR work experience within a Human Resources department, with at least 5 years in an HR Generalist capacity.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to influence, establish rapport, and work with a diverse group of senior management and staff within a variety of businesses.
