Market Access & Reimbursement Senior Director

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Market Access & Reimbursement efforts in Canada. As a key member of our Canadian affiliate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the local Market Access Strategy for our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the local Canadian Market Access Strategy, including pricing, reimbursement, and patient access.
  • Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategy related to Patented Medicines Prices Review Board (PMPRB) reviews and approvals.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the development of local reimbursement dossiers for all payors (public and private).
  • Lead the development and implementation of local product listing agreements (PLAs) with various public and private payors.
  • Drive formulary placement and develop strategies to ensure patient access to current and future brands.
  • Build productive relationships with key provincial government decision makers and influencers.
  • Align stakeholder group engagement plans to support optimal patient access.
  • Lead and develop the local Market Access team to ensure delivery of optimal performance and future growth.
Requirements:
  • 14+ years of healthcare experience with broad experience in market access, pricing, HTA, key accounts, and commercial operations.
  • Advanced degree in economics, health economics, medicine, pharmacy, public health, health services research, business analytics, and/or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement and pricing issues, policies, and trends.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making.
