As a key member of our team at Orbit Insurance Services, you will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Broker Services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients by delivering comprehensive product and service information, addressing client concerns, and evaluating risks associated with automobile and property insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inquiries via phone and written communication. This involves processing updates directly in our systems, adhering to appropriate underwriting standards, evaluating risks in line with binding requirements, and addressing general account questions.
- Resolve issues related to products and services. This includes clarifying client complaints, identifying the root cause, selecting optimal solutions, facilitating corrections, following up to ensure resolution, and making recommendations to management as necessary.
- Engage potential clients. This entails answering inquiries and providing detailed information about our offerings, obtaining essential dates, and meeting or exceeding objectives to enhance sales opportunities.
- Handle rewrites and remarketing in accordance with established guidelines for new business.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and keep current rate manuals updated for all markets, including new coverage announcements.
- Develop and maintain a thorough log and diary system, highlighting contentious issues for discussion with management as needed.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications:
- A valid AMF license is mandatory.
- Flexible hybrid work model.
- Completion or commitment to complete three insurance courses or their equivalents: CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile.
- Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
