Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Fund Accounting and Operations team. As a key member of our financial services organization, you will be responsible for supervising and reviewing a small team, as well as engaging in hands-on work when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Review fund documents to ensure compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Capital Activity Management: Manage capital activity for funds, including executing trades and conducting daily reconciliations.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including NAV calculations and expense payments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish connections with fund stakeholders and ensure effective communication.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and review the work of others, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to standards.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA certification with relevant experience in the industry (fund administration).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with various systems, including Excel, and ability to perform complex tasks.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Ability to supervise and review the work of others, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
