Role Overview: As a Senior Fund Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing financial data within our investment database. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records for investments
- Reconciling cash transactions received from investors and investment activities
- Ensuring bank account reconciliations are performed regularly
- Updating and maintaining investment data, including share counts, security locations, and countries of origin
- Assisting in the onboarding of new clients and participating in special projects
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. Additional qualifications such as a CPA or MBA are considered advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, particularly within the Private Equity sector, is required. Experience in training, delegating tasks, and reviewing the work of others is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
