Position Overview: The GWAM Canada Operations team is in search of a Manager of Quality Assurance Testing and Business Support. This role is pivotal in aiding the Fund Operations Administration team by executing enhancements to the VPA system and managing various business-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership by steering projects and initiatives through an agile framework, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively and consistently with a diverse audience, including direct reports, peers, and senior management regarding issues, changes, and delays.
  • Establish and maintain processes related to risk management, data governance, and the system development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Utilize your technical expertise to collaborate on projects and enhance team efficiencies.
  • Deliver project status updates to management and colleagues.

Candidate Profile: Reporting to the Director of Fund Operations, the ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, influential, and accountable leader with a proven track record in fostering engaged teams and strong peer relationships. You will be adept at resolving issues while supporting collaborators, systems, and processes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics, accompanied by relevant experience.
  • A passion for assisting peers and teams in problem-solving and fostering collaboration.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to build trust.
  • Ability to assess operational risks and implement effective controls.
  • Proficient in articulating business needs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as presenting strategies to senior management.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
