Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team at Co-operators. As a key member of our Distribution team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Sell auto and property insurance to clients by identifying their insurance needs and proactively building a network of sales opportunities.
- Apply underwriting guidelines to provide quotes and upsell/cross-sell other product lines through referrals.
- Contribute to the overall sales growth plan by achieving individual sales, quality, and productivity goals.
- Provide exceptional client service by responding to client inquiries and concerns, resolving complaints, and escalating matters appropriately.
- Maintain client retention by supporting referrals and effectively communicating with clients who inquire about cancellation.
- One year of experience in an office environment.
- Some post-secondary education.
- Knowledge of underwriting practices and home and auto insurance products is an asset.
- The Personal lines Damage Insurance Licence delivered by l'Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec (AMF) is an asset.
