Sales and Merchandising Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Merchandising Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Retail Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving sales and distribution growth in your territory, representing our clients at grocery/mass stores.
Key Responsibilities- Execute core program fundamentals, including sales, negotiating, and building displays, to drive business growth.
- Achieve above-target results in sales growth, distribution, innovation speed to market, and ad hoc sales initiatives.
- Develop positive working relationships with key retail contacts, including retail owners and managers.
- Negotiate incremental sales, including bookings, SPLAN, and allocation tables.
- Improve merchandising and use of promotional pieces in-store.
- Execute and deliver retail coverage as per plan, maintaining a focus on delivering high ROI for the client.
- Accurately document call activity via call reporting tools.
- Manage effective allocation of funds and complete thorough budget documentation.
- Act as a category expert, providing timely and insightful retail feedback to our client.
- Work in the field at retail, with extensive travel within your defined territory.
- Complete administrative tasks, including tracking, submitting call reports, and checking email regularly for new product information and updates.
- Prior retail sales experience in grocery stores, mass, and/or pharma.
- Takes ownership for results.
- Motivational communicator who is passionate about results.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Organized, flexible, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience with territory management.
- Experience with MS Office, MS Teams, and call reporting tools.
- Daily access to the internet and email to complete administrative tasks.
- Must have a computer with internet access.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to store POP at home location.
