Job Summary:

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure shipment deadlines are met and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with internal associates and customers to provide timely and accurate information.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor to support the success of our logistics operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of Transportation Management experience preferred, with a focus on shipment coordination.
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple transportation management and inventory systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using office tools such as MS Office or Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
