We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities- Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to optimize logistics operations and improve efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of issues.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor to support the team's goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of transportation management experience preferred, with a focus on shipment coordination.
- Ability to learn and operate multiple transportation management and inventory systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with office tools such as MS Office or Google Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
