About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Chinese Wok. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Handle and store cleaning products in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks that may be demanding.
