Director of Fairmont Gold

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, we are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to lead our Fairmont Gold department as Director. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering unparalleled luxury experiences to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team of Fairmont Gold staff to ensure seamless service delivery across all aspects of the department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote Fairmont Gold services and amenities.
  • Manage room inventory, including upgrades, upsells, and special projects.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to design and execute the Fairmont Gold lounge menu.
  • Oversee capital and special projects specific to Fairmont Gold.
  • Identify and implement new initiatives to surprise and delight our guests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on attractions, dining, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and emergency procedures.
  • Supervise staff to ensure exceptional service levels and maintain financial accountability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a large hotel department.
  • Previous experience in a 4-diamond hotel, with concierge experience an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations and commitment to guest service.
