Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as an Adult Inpatient Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct daily rounds and provide ongoing supervision and management of clinical/patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in mental health care.
- Specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) or equivalent body acceptable to the RCPS (C) and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in adult psychiatry, with a focus on complex mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying current with best practices in mental health care.
