Aroma Espresso Bar NOTL Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Aroma Espresso Bar NOTL. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain our culinary standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on kitchen procedures, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback and concerns.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and monitor inventory, repairs, sales, and waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Culinary Genres: Possess a deep understanding of various culinary styles and techniques to maintain our menu's integrity.
  • Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food trays to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Prepare and Cook Complete Meals or Individual Dishes and Foods: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the demands of our menu.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
