Position Overview

In the role of Automotive Insurance Consultant, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and be responsible for cultivating, servicing, and sustaining relationships with clients and local dealerships to offer a variety of insurance products.

Daily Responsibilities -

  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients, colleagues, and dealership representatives to expand your professional network.
  • Proactively present innovative solutions utilizing a diverse range of ICBC and private insurance offerings while meeting performance objectives.
  • Handle a broad spectrum of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new registrations, transfers, cancellations, and payment processing.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cross-selling and referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines.

  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Proven sales experience and motivation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing high transaction volumes.
  • Availability for weekend and evening shifts.
  • Willingness to use personal transportation for dealership visits.
  • Commitment to obtaining Level 1 and 2 Licenses.

Compensation Overview -

This position offers a variable compensation structure, combining a base salary with commission. The total earnings will fluctuate based on the successful candidate's portfolio. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $38,000.00 and $60,000.00, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
