About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Body Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy
- Plan and execute repair work, using expertise and knowledge of automotive systems
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Clean and maintain workspaces, adhering to health and safety standards
- Instruct apprentices and share knowledge and expertise
- Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Repair or replace interior components
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
- Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
- Physically demanding work environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependability, initiative, and reliability
