We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing patient care, and working collaboratively with paramedics to deliver high-quality care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls, assess patient needs, and provide appropriate care and support.
- Patient Care: Record vital signs, provide CPR and resuscitation support, and assist with patient transfers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with paramedics, other healthcare professionals, and emergency services to ensure seamless patient care.
- Vehicle Operations: Drive emergency vehicles, complete daily vehicle inspections, and restock supplies.
Requirements:
- Education: GCSEs at grade C or equivalent.
- Driving License: Full UK/EU driving license with C1 entitlement or Provisional C1 License.
- Training: Willingness to undergo further training and development opportunities.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in healthcare or social care.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
