About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Consultant to join our team at JTE Claims Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Economic Analysis: Conduct thorough economic analyses to determine the feasibility of projects and identify potential cost savings.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects and identify potential risks and challenges.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information and prepare detailed reports.
  • Client Consultation: Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements and conduct research to identify potential solutions.
  • Construction Planning: Ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Project Management: Establish and monitor construction work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Material Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials to ensure quality and durability.
  • Design Review: Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a consulting engineering company.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
