About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Civil Engineer to join our team at JTE Claims Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, feasibility studies, and technical analyses of survey and field data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analyses and feasibility studies to determine project viability
  • Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information
  • Prepare reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with clients and engineering team members to determine project requirements
  • Ensure construction plans meet building codes and regulations
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules
  • Evaluate and recommend building and construction materials
  • Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to team members
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting civil engineering
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
