POSITION SUMMARY

As part of our Diversification Strategy, the expansion of product lines, along with the onboarding of new parts suppliers, has significantly increased demands on our current team. We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service representative to manage and streamline this influx, ensuring exceptional support for our valued customers.

This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of customer service and will be pivotal in managing orders, responding to customer needs, and supporting our growth initiatives in the automotive sector.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

1. Process and manage orders ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
2. Read and interpret EDI releases, enter new parts, and resolve cumulative issues to maintain data integrity.
3. Monitor customers' portals, respond to shortage tickets, and initiate necessary actions to address shortages.
4. Confirm shipping dates in customers' systems, track plant losses, and expedite launch parts.
5. Upload and manage Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) to maintain seamless communication with customers.
6. Collaborate with team members to address requests/issues from various customers, ensuring efficient service.
7. Create picklists, print and verify suppliers' invoices, and enter purchase orders.
8. Any other related tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service in an office environment or expediting role.
2. High school diploma.
3. Shipping experience (an asset).
4. Strong MS Office experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Ability to maneuver through databases quickly and to multitask.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
7. Strong sense of urgency, able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines and respond swiftly to customer demands in a fast-paced environment.
8. Detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy.
