Our client is seeking an HR Coordinator to support their busy HR team on a temporary basis.
This individual will serve as the first point of contact for the HR department and must be comfortable handling a variety of HR-related tasks. Previous experience in an HR role is required to ensure familiarity with terminology, workflows, and general HR practices.
Working alongside a dynamic team, the ideal candidate will be able to work independently while also providing support to colleagues as needed. A supportive, organized, and HR-savvy professional is a must for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Act as the first point of contact for the HR department, providing a welcoming and professional first impression to employees and visitors.
- Respond to general HR inquiries and provide guidance on common policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Support employee relations by offering initial advice and directing employees to the appropriate HR team member for more complex issues.
- Assist with reviewing and updating internal HR policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment with current practices.
- Provide administrative and coordination support across the HR team, helping with a range of tasks as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal processes and HR workflows to ensure smooth operations and consistent communication.
- Support various HR initiatives and projects, contributing to a collaborative and efficient team environment.
Education:
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is considered a strong asset.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role is required.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and processes is a definite asset.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving with a balanced, professional approach.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to shifting priorities.
- People-focused, approachable, and empathetic in all interactions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- A true team player with a collaborative and supportive mindset.
Base Salary:$22+ per hour
- Salary based on experience.
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
Remote Work:
- This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
