What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Assistant to join the Strategic Partnerships Group in our London office on a permanent basis.
This role is truly multifaceted and would suit anyone interested in exploring a role in financial services. The candidate will be joining a national sales team principally working with professional service firms, owners and entrepreneurs and private clients.
Although the team is located across the UK, we have fostered a strong, supportive, and collegiate team approach, that works to create introductions and deepen relationships with the RBC Brewin Dolphin office network and key professional connections.
This role will combine a mixture of sales support and general support for the Head of Channel Operations and broader teams. This role requires someone who is curious, diligent and happy to work in a fast paced and varied environment.
What will you do?
- Supporting the SPG team to design and collate marketing and presentation materials for internal and external use.
- Helping to develop our core propositions and working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the co-ordination and running of events both virtually and physically.
- Team organisation including team diary management, travel booking and expenses (where appropriate).
- Help compile monthly reports for Head of Channel Operations.
- Support Head of Channel Operations on team initiatives such as organising team strategy days and finding ways to improve processes across the teams for example maintaining template PowerPoint decks.
- Support the Introducer Onboarding process.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the broader team.
- Assisting the team in company/sector research and competitor mapping.
- Responsible for the team’s digital footprint, including intranet content and social media posts.
- Support with the input of data to our Client Engage software to assist with tracking of leads and prospects.
- Help maintain relevant internal intranet pages.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications and experience working with a CRM system – knowledge of Salesforce advantageous.
- Professional demeanour and confidence to speak up and ask questions.
- Ability to juggle tasks and switch attention easily.
- Happy to spend time working with data as well as marketing.
- Hard working, enthusiastic, and an eagerness to learn and to take on more responsibility as the team evolves.
- Curious, inquisitive and someone who thrives in a fast paced and changing environment.
- A true team player with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Nice-to-have
- Experience working in Wealth Management, Financial Services or Professional Services is advantageous.
