We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Average assignment durations are 4 weeks and can be extended if desired.
The work you will do:
- Work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents – from newborn to elders – through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere.
- Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan.
- Health Promotion, Assessments, planning and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary care and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations.
- Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice.

Who You Are:
- You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing.
- You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing.
- You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work.
- You meet the required work experience.
- Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during the interview.

1 year: Must have completed a minimum of 30 weeks (defined as 1125 regular working hours) of experience as a Nurse Practitioner within the past (4) four years OR completed a minimum of 12 weeks (defined as 450 regular working hours) of experience, within the past one (1) year, working in remote, isolated and/or semi‐isolated communities.
