The manager will be one of 4 managers, that would oversee a provincial payroll team with staff located in North, Rural, Saskatoon, and Regina, ensuring standardization of processes while addressing localized operational needs. The Payroll Manager is responsible for stabilizing payroll systems, resolving escalated payroll issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also plays a critical part in providing proactive guidance to operational leaders, addressing payroll-related challenges, and aligning payroll practices with SHA’s strategic vision to support patient-first care delivery.Human Resources Exemption: NoExperience 5 years experience in Payroll or Human Resources Three (3) years leadership experience in the specific department/area/program Experience as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning Education Bachelor of Finance (BF) Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Human Resources diploma Human Resources certificate Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies Advanced - Interpersonal skills Advanced - Critical thinking skills Advanced - Leadership skills Advanced - Computer skills Advanced - Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Advanced - Financial skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action Knowledge in the Saskatchewan health care system Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care Knowledge in applicable legislation and standards Knowledge in First Nation and Metis history in Saskatchewan Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity Knowledge in leadership strategies Ability to lead and coach others Knowledge in applicable human resource functions and disciplines Knowledge in LEAN management system Knowledge of diverse, culturally safe and representative workforce Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm Ability to adapt to and implement change Other Information Travel within Saskatchewan
