Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director, HR Staff Services- Staff Scheduling, the Manager is accountable for planning, developing, coordinating and management of Staff Scheduling Services and Payroll Services for select units/sites within the SHA. The incumbent will utilize and innovative approach of continuous improvement, including collaboration and strategy development, to provide improved service to its clients- striving to support staffing needs in order to best serve Patient/Resident/Client outcomes. Utilizing continuous improvement management approach, this position will provide support and leadership to the scheduling and payroll processes. The Manager will foster a cooperative environment for scheduling activities, monitor and support adherence to collective agreements and develop and support procedures to ensure standardization and consistent application of scheduling of unionized employees.

Experience

  • Three (3) years leadership experience in the specific department/area/program
  • 5 years experience in Payroll or Human Resources
  • Experience as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Finance (BF)
  • Human Resources certificate
  • Human Resources diploma
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
