ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator to manage and oversee our noise wall construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, construction, and utility stakeholder teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

1. Aid in the pursuit of projects through the bid process, including writing proposals and gathering information.
2. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, schedules, and quantity verifications in conjunction with the project manager and estimating team.
3. Assist in project kick-off, including leading required scope preplanning and submitting necessary documents.
4. Responsible for all safety and environmental aspects on projects and at worksites in accordance with current OH&S and environmental regulations.
5. Coordinate project activities, including attending site meetings, identifying and pricing work extra to the contract, invoicing, collections, and resolving disputes.
6. Collaborate with the project team, overseeing junior coordinators and project support staff.
7. Monitor project costs and financial reports, providing feedback to operations and estimating departments.
8. Direct liaison with customers, consultants, and owners to ensure client satisfaction.
9. Ensure project close-out items are completed, including documentation handovers and post-construction inspections.
10. Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with a C.E.T designation is preferred. A combination of educational background along with skills/field experience will be considered.
Required Work Experience: Minimum 2-5 years project coordination and field supervisory experience, estimating experience preferred.
Required Technical Skills: Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Bid2Win estimating software.

Additional Requirements:

1. Assist the estimating team on quantity take-offs.
2. Ensure project plans, coding, and locates have been distributed to supervisors and crews.
3. Complete project reviews and provide management a close-out review upon season or project completion.
4. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE").
