Shoppers Drug Mart in Ottawa, ON is looking for an Asset Protection Representative to join our elite team

What You'll Do:

- Be a Guardian: Deter, detect, and apprehend individuals engaging in theft and fraud, protecting our products and profits.

- Investigate & Analyze: Conduct thorough internal investigations, analyze evidence, and collaborate with law enforcement to resolve incidents of theft and fraud.

- Mastermind Loss Prevention: Identify shrink opportunities and collaborate with store teams to implement innovative security strategies.

- Be a Team Player: Partner with fellow Asset Protection Representatives and store leadership to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

- Embrace the Unexpected: Work a flexible schedule that keeps you on your toes and ready for anything.

What You'll Need:

- Sharp Skills: Valid Provincial Security Guard License, knowledge of relevant laws (Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act), and familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems.

- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- People Person: Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.

- Proactive & Trustworthy: High degree of initiative, integrity, and a passion for upholding ethical standards.
