SIGuard Services Limited, a leading security and safety solution provider in Canada, has been deploying personnel across various industries for almost fifty years.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguard the assets and minimize losses for our retail clients.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License & Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • At least 1 year of tactical security experience in a high-profile customer-focused environment.
  • Loss Prevention Knowledge is an asset.
  • Previous Use of Force training and arrest experience will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work at different sites across the Ottawa region.
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness.
  • Punctuality & Able to stand/patrol up for up to 12 hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.
  • Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code, and 494(c).
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to conduct arrests within appropriate and sanctioned situations.
  • Military/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
  • Education background in law enforcement is an asset.

Additional Information
