We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing accounting/financial operations, managing budgets, providing financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Director, Business Support, this position will operate within the Business Support team and will work collaboratively with WINS’ other departments and team members to achieve WINS’ mission and vision and make a positive impact on our community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
**Accounting and Financial Management**
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements following the Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (“GAAP”)
- Generate monthly budget variance reports for the leadership, ensuring transparency. Provide the leadership with the required support and guidance.
- Provide support to the General Accountant in preparing and processing scheduled payroll and other related duties

**Internal Control**
- Work with the Director, Business Support to ensure that strong internal controls are in place and updated as needed
- Regularly review and update financial policies and procedures and provide training to appropriate stakeholders

**Grant Management**:

- Oversee financial aspects of grants, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and compliance with grant requirements.
- Work closely with the Fund Development and Program team to ensure effective use of funds and adherence to grant guidelines.

**Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Under the direction of the Director, Business Support, develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability.
- Regularly update financial forecast that identifies trends and key issues to support the leadership in pivoting strategic decision
- Update and leverage pre-determined KPIs to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support informed decision-making by the leadership team

**Budget Management**:

- Under the direction of the Director, Business Support, build annual budgets that reflect the agency’s key strategic goals and annual business plan. Collaborate with the leadership to ensure departmental priorities are reflected in the agency’s budgets
- Provide monthly budget variance reports to each department head and discuss key priorities and risks

**Audit and Compliance**:

- Coordinate annual and program audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of the audit process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

**Other**
- Act as a key member of the Finance & Audit Committee meeting by actively supporting building the meeting package, taking meeting minutes, and contributing to key discussions.
- Actively participate in Key leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning
- Projects and tasks may be assigned that are directly related to the Business Support Division and/or provide broadening opportunities as a whole and other departments.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional accounting designation or working towards a CPA designation

**Experience**
- Five to eight years of progressive accounting and
