- New Business Development Consultant (Construction)_
**A day in the life of The New Business Development Consultant (Construction)**:
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE TRAINING AVAILABLE, NO PREVIOUS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE PROVEN RESULTS AS A HIGH LEVEL SALES PERFORMER.

Hardwood Your Home Inc. specializes in supplying and installing hard surface flooring including hardwood, laminate and vinyl as well as supplying material and recapping existing staircases and building new handrail systems.
- New Business Development Consultant _will have daily, weekly and monthly sales targets. They are responsible to create, grow and develop the sales and margins of Hardwood Your Home’s Flooring and Stair Renovation portfolio; located within an assigned geographic territory of Barrie and surrounding areas. The majority of your time is spent in your territory, visiting with new leads while also continually developing new business opportunities within complimentary industries (custom home builders, real estate, property managers, interior designers, etc.)

**To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities**:

- Travel within sales territory to meet with new and existing prospects
- Conduct calls and face to face meetings with customers daily
- Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers within a specific territory.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Educate clients on how products or services can benefit their lifestyle, taste and budget
- Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
- Manages displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
- Quotes prices, discusses credit terms and prepares sales contracts for customer orders
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.
- Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers
- Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company product
- Investigates and resolves customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales results
- Strong math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, area, and volume.
- Ability to determine solutions for customers.
- Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Familiary with using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.

**Pay**:$75,000-$100,000+ per year
