Inferno Solar Ltd. is an Alberta-based, family-owned solar company. We install solar systems that make a difference, thousands of panels at a time. Our goal is to provide Clean Energy Solutions for Canadians, that reduce costs and increase independence. We feel the commercial & industrial building sector is key to our mission as it has the highest impact for the lowest input cost.

Our projects are on flat roofs and sheet metal roofs, in Edmonton, Calgary, and smaller cities and towns across Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. We also have deep expertise in battery storage and EV charging solutions.

We use heavy machinery, run lots of pipe, and pull big wire. We get it done, do it right, make it look the best it possibly can, and have fun doing it.

We are hiring a motivated **Project Manager** who wants to make a difference in a growing company in the clean energy industry. This is a full-time position based out of our Edmonton office and will be required attend work in person.

**Key Accountabilities**:
1. Take ownership of the project from award of contract through project close-out

2. Develop procurement and construction schedules, and measure progress weekly

3. Create project plans; manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects

4. Procure ‘A’ Material: modules, inverters, solar racking, AC distribution equipment, and cable tray

5. Point of Contact: Coordinate and communicate with customers

6. Manage contracts for engineering and specialty subcontractors

7. Review solar and electrical designs for constructability and accuracy; ensure all engineering is completed and permits are applied for in compliance with project plans

8. Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior coordination, design, administrative, and installation staff

9. Ensure work is completed safely, in accordance with our Quality Assurance, Quality Control process, and to industry best practice, by conducting regular site visits

**Qualifications & Experience**
- 5 years experience in commercial solar and electrical Project Management position
- Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Journeyman or Master Electrician certificates, or Electrical Engineering Diploma, or Electrical Engineering degree
- Strong coordination skills
- Proficiency with Gantt charts, Microsoft Office suite, blueprints / digital drawings, BlueBeam Revu,

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
