Job Title: Project Coordinator, Diversity Youth Fellowship Initiatives

UARR is seeking a Full Time - 35 hrs/wk from July 2024 to June 2025 (with a possibility of extension)

**Responsibilities**:

- Organizing the outreach to promote the various youth fellowship programs
- Engage community stakeholders in supporting the assigned initiatives
- Implement a fundraising strategy to raise funds for the fellowship program
- Recruit, coach and support Youth Fellowship leads, team volunteers
- Recruit, train, place and support fellows in our various fellowship programs
- Liaise with city staff and elected representatives to support the DYF project in Toronto and explore ways to expand the program to other cities across Canada
- Coordinate the program evaluation & assist fellows with their community projects
- Support the Executive Director in the expansion of the fellowship program to other cities and to other fields across Canada
- Establish and support DYF Alumni Network and organize events to recognize and connect current fellows, their mentors and the alumni.
- Assist with other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two years of experience in project management, including design, delivery and evaluation
- Experience in working with various diverse communities, especially on youth leadership programs
- Experience in fundraising and marketing for community development and education projects
- Familiarity of issues impacting racialized youth and the knowledge of the various community assets and resources available
- Understanding of anti-racism and anti-oppression framework and principles
- Strong communication skills and social media skills
- Experience in managing volunteers, and supervising staff
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills

Annual Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000 (based on past experience and qualifications)
